In & Around the House
The Clive & Curzon, built along the elegant lines of a colonial planters’ bungalow, is a charming house with wonderful views of the mountain ridge running from Ooty and Doddabetta on the West, towards Coonoor to the East. Right in front of us lie the dark green woods that surround Laidlaw School, with its church spire peaking out above the tree tops.
The long front verandah and lawns which wrap around the bungalow, are the perfect vantage points to take in the views, aided by a pot of our homegrown green tea. The living room has a working fireplace and comfortable seating for those who would like to cuddle up with a book or a rejuvenating refreshment. The TV lounge has a large flatscreen television with cable and netflix, as well as a cozy sun-bathed bay window with a lovely view of Doddabetta.
